The Isles of Wrynn
Voyage of Remorse
Year 1621, ain 24 – 28 of the starite calendar. The rage of the storms, causing even the mightiest of ships to sway, reeked havoc on crew members of a sizable fleet of vessels. These ships, carrying a diverse group of denizens of another island, continue on through the frequent storms, knowing they cannot cease the voyage. Many are lost at sea – unable to cope with the travel in one way or another. Encounters at sea prove difficult for the stalwart people – deadly creatures seek to tear their mighty ships asunder. Sorrow greeted the passengers when topics such as rest or sustenance arose… rations were cut drastically to prepare for the long voyage and there was little time for rest due to the persistent peril they faced. For the people aboard these ships however, no obstacle will keep them from reaching a new land. They know not how far they must travel, but they do know they must persist. For a chance at a future where all can be free, they must find land. Several miserable ain of sailing pass before a call is issued from the bow of the vanguard ship: Land, Ho! As the fleet approaches the first island to greet them on the journey an extremely loud tearing sound bellows for several minutes, before finally settling down. Those sailing on the ships knew that they must disembark, settling on the island that they would come to know as Tasum.
